Terms and Conditions
The terms ‘Envelope’, ‘us’ and ‘we’ refer to the owners of the website whose registered office is at 3-14-5-3F Tamagawa, Setagayaku, Tokyo, 158-0094 JAPAN. Our registered company name is CAHOOTS INC., and we are registered in Japan. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of the website.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN ENGLISH
This Terms and Conditions section written in English exclusively addresses those domiciled outside of Japan, because of differences in certain procedures like ordering and shipping. If you reside in Japan, please refer to the Terms and Conditions written in Japanese.
Payments for orders are not collected when they are placed, but instead when the items are ready for dispatch. As such, Envelope is not committed to providing the goods requested at the time when you place an order. You order is accepted when we despatch the goods to you; this represents the moment where a ‘contract of sale’ is made between Envelope and you.
Credit card orders are processed securely by GMO Payment Gateway. Envelope does not handle any credit card data for orders placed online. Paypal is an alternative payment method for our overseas customers, and does not require you to sign up with us or share your card details.
Please note that pictures may not be to scale; always check the given dimensions. Colours are reproduced as accurately as possible, but, as with all photography, there may be some slight variation.
We aim to process orders the day they are placed, although during busy periods it may take up to one working week. Orders received on Sundays and Bank Holidays will be processed the following working day. We use a combination of courier and Post Office services for delivery in Japan.
For international orders, delivery charges will be calculated after an order is placed, of which you will be notified by e-mail, and added before payment is taken. The charge is determined volumetrically, i.e. by both the size and the weight of the package. We are happy to combine multiple orders to send them as a shipment. If you would like a specific quote, would like to query a shipping charge, or have a special request, please send an e-mail to email@example.com.
If for any reasons you are unhappy with a purchase from Envelope, we can offer a refund on any item as long as it is returned in a saleable condition within 15 days. Please contact us for more information. (certain items not refundable) Please note, however, that we are unable to refund postage costs incurred on both journeys.
If you have received a damaged or faulty item, please let us know, and we will do our best to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
We make every effort to protect the privacy of our users and customers. As such we will not ask for personal details that are not required as part of your transaction. Any personal data collected by us online will be safely and securely stored and not shared with any third party.
All images, text, design and graphics on this website are owned by CAHOOTS INC. We welcome people sharing our images elsewhere, on the condition that they are given proper credit as well as a link to this site.
